| Since its original release, this newly improved model 1255 Pull-Type has evolved into a multi-use applicator. With the appropriate options, one machine can now broadcast inter-row up to 7' or the same machine can also apply a 12" to 30" surface band in row spacings up to 10'. With the broadcast boom, the unit can apply in 16' or 20' swaths. These operations were previously accomplished by customer modifications in the field but are now available in option packages that allow you to order the unit based on your specific needs. ![]() ![]()
A Murphy gauge measures air manifold pressure using inches of water column. The gauge is connected to the in-cab control and warning light and buzzer to warn of insufficient air pressure, ensuring proper application.
Manually operated slide gates stop product flow to the metering system allowing you to remove the roller for cleaning or servicing. Sight Gauge A plexiglass sight gauge lets the operator check product level in the hopper. Calibration Hand Crank To make calibrating a product as precise and easy as possible a hand-crank is provided to turn the metering system. The product can be collected by using the funnel trays and weighed for determining exact application rates. In-Cab Control The dual electric clutch control allows you to operate the metering system from the operators seat. 2 magnetic clutches and in-cab control, allowing 1/2 shut-off on either side.
